Monate Praamsma is a registered Physiotherapist with post graduate training in pelvic floor physiotherapy. Monate graduated from the University of Toronto with a Clinical Masters in Physical Therapy (2006) and also earned a research Masters in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo (2004). Monate has pursued her passion in pelvic health physiotherapy by taking postgraduate courses to help both men and women with bladder incontinence, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, and pregnancy and post-natal problems. She also applies her skills in acupuncture to the treatment of pelvic floor muscle dysfunction. Monate also has extensive experience in orthopedics and sports injuries. She integrates her background in manual therapy with soft tissue release, acupuncture and dry needling and her clinical experience in neurology gives her a firm foundation for motor control retraining. Monate brings to her work a diversified background of skills and a strong commitment to lifelong learning. Through her kind and caring approach, Monate loves to help her clients achieve their goals and empower them with information. In her spare time Monate enjoys pilates, dance, music, hiking, skiing and spending time with her husband and three kids.
